We make games. We also build Kansei, our own WebGPU engine, for real-time graphics and interactive experiences on the web.
Raggare web teaser, rendered in Kansei
The engine
Kansei
Our open-source WebGPU engine for real-time graphics on the web. We use it for interactive web experiences, teasers and promotion, such as the Raggare web teaser. It started as a TypeScript and WGSL library and now has a Rust core that compiles to WebAssembly and also runs natively.
-
Cluster LOD and impostors
Meshes are split into clusters and drawn at the detail the camera needs. Far forests turn into baked impostor cards.
-
Fluids
Water on the GPU, with SPH and position-based solvers, a surface reconstructed for rendering, and colliders that push it around.
-
Motion matching
Characters pick each next pose from a database of motion, so movement follows the player without hand-built state machines.
-
Sky, clouds and fog
A physical atmosphere with aerial perspective, ray-marched volumetric clouds and their shadows, and froxel volumetric fog.
-
Light and lens
Cascaded shadows, planar reflections, hybrid path-traced GI, TAA, depth of field, bloom and a film look.
-
Built for the web
GPU culling, KTX2 textures transcoded per device, and every shader validated in tests. The same code ships to a tab and a window.
MIT licensed. Experimental and moving fast.
Try it in your browser
- Path-traced GI A Cornell box lit by hybrid path-traced global illumination
- Post-processing Volumetric fog with shadows, plus bloom, depth of field and colour grading to switch on
- DoF terrain A scrolling field of noise-driven columns with SSAO and a physical lens: two-layer depth of field and bokeh
- Fluid A GPU particle fluid you can stir with the mouse
- Lake Water held by a shaped bed and shore, stirred by a mill wheel's paddles, its surface drawn from a surface field
- Fluid text Fluid particles that gather into letters
- MSDF text Signed-distance-field text, animated by a compute shader
- Motion matching A character controller with motion matching: walk, run, jump and parkour over obstacles, plus a fluid lake to wade through
The examples need a browser with WebGPU, such as a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari. All examples

Raggare
In development
A summer in Sjöviken, a village by Lake Siljan in Dalarna. Your tired white '73 Coupe de Ville dies at the village pumps, and you are a stranger in town.
Raggare is about Swedish raggare car culture and the people in it. Getting the car running again means getting to know the locals. It is in development as a full game.
Until it is out, raggare.kansei.graphics has a short web teaser, an interactive prologue built with Kansei that runs in your browser.
